mX: Designers, Greens & Secrets

Two mX posts in a row...
The success of Australian designers overseas is being linked to the rise of Sydney and Melbourne on a list of the world's top fashion cities. New York is the world's fashion capital, followed by Hong Kong, London, Paris and Los Angeles, according to a list compiled by trend tracker Global Language Monitor. But it shows the top five are seeing competition from Australia. Sydney is now No. 7 on the list, up from 9, while Melbourne jumped 14 places to No. 11... The other cities that made up the top 10 are Milan (6), Miami (8), Barcelona (9) and Madrid (10).

The light-hearted survey at stayinbedday.org.au seeks to find out people's favourite thing to do on a Sunday morning. The poll closes at midnight Sunday, with the results next week. Remind me to provide a link if your interested as I may forget. It is being run in the lead-up to Stay in Bed Day on August 22 - a fund raising event for mitochondrial disease, a debilitating and potentially fatal genetic disorder that affects children and adults...
