Trygon versus Mawloc

I've almost finished all the 'Nid articles I have planned. However, the recently released Tyranid FAQ reminded me of this article by Raptor1313. Now although they share the same box set and have some similarities, they are two completely different beasts that compete for the same slots.

Note that if you look carefully at the rules, at the moment there's nothing in the Mawloc rules that allow it to deep-strike onto a target! You MUST deep-strike no closer than an inch to the enemy, and hope like hell that scatter onto the enemy. This kind of kills the Mawloc for me, until they FAQ it.

The Tyranid FAQ fixed up this issue with the ruling in favour of the Mawloc... just like how they played it back in a previous White Dwarf Battle Report.
