Competent 'Nid Generals

Some of the better nid lists struggle within the time limit of your standard tourney. Plus, going first with them in object missions can suck when their ability to stop late tank shock objective contests is basically nonexistent. They have good builds but player skill and speed are immensely important.

The bold was added by me for emphasis. If you go back to my 3rd post of the Blog (the one that kicked off the Tyranid series) you will find that wonderfully ignorant post from Warseer. I feel this sums up not only Tyranids but all non-Imperial armies. They have a steeper learning curve (single exception is Orks). This means that non-Imperial armies are less forgiving to simple mistakes. So when you build 4th Edition 'Nid lists and lack a decent understanding of the game mechanics you can expect to hear lots of bitching and whining.

In a nutshell you need to understand your codex, your opponent's codex and the Rule Book.
