Bolter & Chainsword Custom Dice

Ok everyone, it has been 2 years since the last dice run. While folks really liked the dice, they weren't so thrilled with the company we had making them at the time. So we've taken that time since to research and get to where we wanted in terms of both art and a supplier. We fully believe that we won't have the issues from the supplier that happened last time for a myriad of reason, the biggest being the new supplier gives us a guaranteed delivery date.

The Details

We will be offering both dice and dice bags again. 

We've brought B&C founder Bloodsaint out of retirement to do the art fo this years dice.

The dice are laser etched blanks and then painted. 

The dice are produced by Gamestation.net here in the States. Their dice division is called Customdice.com. You can see their Facebook page and Youtube video to see samples here:

The dice are 16mm (same size as the GW scatter dice) and square cut just like 2 years ago. 

Colors: While we know that everyone seemed to like the "B&C colors" the dice were offered in last time, we are also going to offer a few "Chapter colors" choices as well this year. Please note the color combos you see are all that is available to us so if you don't see your combo in there, sorry.

Cost: Assuming we meet the quantity requirements the dice will be $3 each, dice bags will be $8 each. Shipping and sales tax will be a flat rate. See details below

Proceeds will go towards the next server upgrade (which is coming sooner than we thought with the way we are growing). 

The Dice

Your color choices for the 2010 dice are:

White - Red, White - Black, Black - Red, Black - White, Red - White, Red - Black, Yellow - Black, Blue - White, Green - White, Ivory - Red

Please Note: When you send in your order the first colour you have is what we go off. So if you put in white-red you are getting white dice with red pips (artwork). 

Dice are $3.00 (US) each. This assumes we get at least 2,000 dice ordered. If we don't hit that 2k mark the price would go up by $.25 (25 cents) per dice, but I don't think 2k is gonna be an issue. All we ask is that if you order dice you get an even number due to the multiple faces on the 6. Though there is no limit to the # you can order, nor in what color combo. So if you want 50 red-white and 50 white-black dice then that is doable!

The Dice Bags

Our dice bags are different from two years ago. First they are laser etched (burned) instead of screen printed and you can get them in multiple colors.

The bags are 6" x 9" in size

Dice bags are $8 each if we get at least 100 of them ordered. If not then the price will go up but again, I don't think it will be an issue. Yes you can order just a dice bag if you wish (but your missing out on sweet B&C dice if you do!).

Shipping

USA: $5.00 (Priority Mail)

REST OF WORLD: You have a choice:

Airmail for $10 

Priority Mail for $14. 

Please note that those of you in Italy and certain Eastern European nations will have to take airmail because your post office doesn't like US Priority mail for some reason.

Airmail is generally slower both in terms of shipping time and getting through customs.

Please note the Priority Mail rates are flat rates. They stay the same no matter how many or how few dice you order up to 4lbs for overseas mail.

Sorry but we cannot do direct shipping from the manufacturer to you. The dice will get produced, sent to Kurgan and then repackaged and mailed off to those who ordered.

Thanks to the joys of flat rate shipping the shipping rates aren't too bad on the dice. However if you order over 100 dice we might not be able to get it into the flat rate package which means a slight increase but that won't be more than a few dollars. 

Timeline

We have been told a 2,000 dice order will take 45 days total. 

So our deadlines are as follows:

Sept 30th is last day to get in on the order

October 1 is last day to pay your invoice

If you haven't gotten into the order or made your payment by those dates then you are out of luck until we do dice again (2012 at best).

So to reiterate:

Final day to get your order in for dice/dice bags is Sept. 30th, 2010

Final day to pay for your order is Oct 1st, 2010

Order will be placed on Oct. 2nd, 2010

Looks like a good 50 or so AUD will be spent on getting some dice and a bag. I will either go for the white - black dice since it will match most of my other dice:

Or go with the Black Templars Chapter colours of black-white in the third row:

Though there is also the chance I will get the black - red dice in the second row. Or I could go half black - white and then the other half being black - red. Going to ask She Who Must Be Named if it is okay. Once I get the green light I will figure out how many I can order.
