'Nid Digestion Pool

Using the amazing ability of going back in time I'm going to post something from What's New Today even though I woke up on the 21st of July. As I usually due (in the future) original commentary is below with my own thoughts in Italics...

Tyler Weston painted and modelled this Tyranid digestion pool. He began with a crater section from the Moonscape [or is that Marscape] set and then glued various sizes of beads into the centre and covered them with a layer of Water effects. The sinister tentacles stretching from the pool were made by unwinding thick string and coating it with PVA Glue.
