MaxMini

Following on from yesterday's post, decided I would take a look at another third party producer of conversion bitz and other interested things. So today we will take a look at MaxMini...

AA Turret Platform - This would be an alternative to the Quad-Gun in the Aegis Defence Line when doing conversions for Hydra Flak Tank or Mortis Pattern Dreadnoughts. It costs 35.64 USD

Confession Machine - This probably doesn't have any practical uses in a normal game of 40k. However, it looks cool and could probably be used as a stratagem in a game of Cities of Death. It costs 11.88 USD

Road Side Shrine - Given the background of the Victorian Crusade this piece of scenery could find a place on the table top with my Black Templars. But unlike the confession machine I can not work out a practical use of this other than terrain. It costs 13.05 USD

Bionic Bit Set - Now this is one of the best conversion bits available from MaxMini. Here are some pictures of how the conversion pieces look on Space Marines. At only 7.46 USD they look like they are well worth the cost.

Black Lotus Tribe Shields - They all look nice, but it is the shield on the left that I can see myself using for a future project I may do. The set comes with 10 shields at 7.46 USD and are able to order specific design.

Large Shoulder Pads - The three on the left have my attention... specifically the second one from the left. Could easily use them for some Pre-Heresy styled Terminators. They cost 7.46 USD for a set of 10 and are able to order specific designs.

Candles, books and skulls - They look like they have come out of a Shakespearean play. But would just as easily fit into any Imperial army. Especially Sisters of Battle... and at only 6.34 USD they are a steal.

Skull Tribe Master of the Rites - Which translates into Chaplain conversion set. Not a fan of how the noses have been done. And I'd probably use a skull helmet from this set. But it is still something to keep in mind. It costs 5.27 USD

Vibro Glaives - Does anybody else look at those and think Grey Knights or Custodians? Because at 9.23 USD for a set of 6 could easily equip a whole army.

There are other bitz and pieces that may interest some of my imaginary friends like the barrels, fur straps and even the Orky stuff. Overall, I like what they have to offer. It is an alternative to some of the Forge World products and will also help anyone aiming to achieve a unique flavour for their army.
