Weekly Finds #59

Painting Chipped Metal and Rust on Terrain by Cameron from Rust and the City - Starting to become a big fan of Cameron's work. His tips on terrain are great for any gamer out there... especially, tournament organisers. This particular tutorial reminded me of this one done by the guys over on Massive Voodoo... minus the need for an airbrush. Everything used in this tutorial can be found laying around the house or picked up cheap from the shops. Great tutorial for tournament terrain pieces.

Painting Minotaurs in Bronze and a Banner by Ron from FTW - This is one of my favourite Space Marine Chapters. Although I'm not a fan of dry brushing on Space Marines it has worked well with the bronze. This recipe would also work well with creating bronze statues... another easy way to add good looking terrain to tournament tables.

Painting Rusty Necron Armour by Garfy from Tale of Painters - And moving on from bronze metallic effect we now have rusted metallic effect. Take a look at this post for some tips on securing weathering powder to your gaming pieces. And once again this recipe could be easily used to give some flavour to terrain pieces.

Attaching Decals by Mad Matt from Youtube - I highly recommended subscribing to Mad Matt's YouTube Channel. The quality of his work is mind blowing. Can expect some amazing YouTube tutorials to be posted by him in the future... looking forward to see how he goes about painting his vehicles.
