Weekly Finds #48

Step by Step: Hunter or Hunted by Raffa from Massive Voodoo - This is possibly the greatest tutorial of them all. It is not only done by Slayer Sword winner Raffa, but is a tutorial on the diorama that won him the sword. Seeing how the project developed with the techniques and tricks really makes me want to build some terrain and get some paint onto miniatures.

Industrial Terrain: Pencil Holder by Cameron from Rust and the City - I became a follower of Rust and the City after coming across Cameron's blog last week. So when I saw the title for this article was curious to see what he was going to do... was well worth taking a look. The use of a mesh stationary holder is brilliant. Sort of thing that tournament organisers could consider when it comes to fleshing out terrain for tables.

Back to Basics: Moving Models During Assaults by Kirby from the Pinktastic Blog - A good read for those just coming into the game and for those who don't know how to assault. Or if your like me and play irregularly at times and forget odd rules between games...

Light Box Setup by Jack from Red's Corp - Anybody who regularly follows What's New Today will remember Jack's Red Scorpions. While killing time by looking through old posts on Red's Corp, came across a post that particularly interested me. A do it yourself light box. The use of a clothes basket is brilliant and something I'll be keeping my eyes open for in the future.

First Turn Purifier Charging Shenanigans by Mike from Whiskey & 40k - Although this is not something likely to happen ever. But knowing it can be done and remember it can be done is useful... knowing your enemy and all that.
