Weekly Finds #44

Western Water Tower by Rob Jedi from Rob Jedi's Miniatures Blog - I've been a follower of Rob's blog for awhile now. The terrain projects he does are amazing. And this water tower is just one example... these are the sort of terrain pieces that tournaments could easily have to add some flavour to their tables. My only issue with the water tower is how short the legs look. Prefer the length of the legs on the CNC Watch Tower.

To Build a City: Building Kits by Talskar from White Scars - A great review with some good tips. I've had the pleasure of playing games on tables with Pegasus Hobbies terrain. It is a great scale for games of 40K and doesn't look out of place alongside Games Workshop terrain... especially, if you add in some little accessories from the 40K kits. Which you can pick up off ebay without having to buy whole kits.

Basics: Line highlighting made simple by Ron from FTW - Line highlighting is a great skill to have up your sleeve. Especially if you collect Space Marines... because, lets face it there are alot of edges to get painted and dry brushing looks ducking horrible. So this tutorial and the following on are great ways to break the process down. Well worth a look at. Roman, from Massive Voodoo, also gives his thoughts on line highlighting as well as on several other basic techniques in this article...
