Weekly Finds #90

Mariners Blight Jet Bikes by Luck No. 5 from Eye of Error - I love this whole army. All of the little details work together to produce something amazing. The use of the shields is probably my favourite element of the army. Reminds me of John Blanche's own work such as in this Inquisitor Warband.

Tutorial Light Your Workplace by Roman from Massive Voodoo - Little doubt that these lights offer some great lighting. And it sounds like their features have great benefits such as the low heat output... a problem I used to have with my old lighting set up. However, I won't be rushing out to change my light set up any time soon due to their high cost and the fact they will be shipped all the way to Ozlandus.

Crimson Fists Stormtalon by Sigur from Tale of Painters - More Stormtalons can be seen over on 40K Hobby Blog. It is interesting to see just how different hobbyists go about painting their miniatures... even when they are both blue in this case.

Imperial Minerals Skitari by Migsula from Legion of Plastic - I like the concept of an Adept Mech Servitor being styled as a robot. However, I'm not a fan of the pinkish red, or that the miniature just doesn't offer  much to suggest it's allegiance to the Mechanicus. The use of glass domes to showcase miniatures is something I hope to do... once I actually start painting my horde of plastic.

Ocher, Oil & Mud by Morback from The Blog de Kouzes - This is a beautiful collection of steam punk and British World War I mixed in together. The miniature is available from Blight Wheel Miniatures alongside the Adeptus Mechanicus styled miniatures also featured in the blog post.
