Alpha Legion Praetor and Apothecaries by Marc Raley from Marc Raley Miniatures - I stumbled across this blog by chance thanks to Dave Taylor. The entire blog is full of some great conversions and painting. I particularly like the three conversions below as they are all so simple yet full of character. Orgotts Daemonspew by Dan Harden from What's New Today - I remember once upon a time Games Workshop had free articles on converting and painting unique miniatures/armies. They even had free rules for wacky conversions and campaigns. Those aren't gone... they just come in the form of supplements and expansions a.k.a micro-transactions. Instead we have these amazing Youtube videos that go into great detail on how to paint some of the latest miniatures... yet the haters still hate.
