This month sees the release of the relaunched White Dwarf. And with this new White Dwarf will end my breakdown on each issues content. Instead I'll be linking to Stahly's review over on Tale of Painters. I'll include my own thoughts on each issue after the break...
This issue looks and feels larger. It is still, very much an advert for Games Workshop products. However, it isn't jammed down your throat like we have become accustomed. In places it is done with subtle candy shots of brand new miniatures and kits... including the highly addictive Forge World miniatures. In other places it is done through the painting tutorials or the articles. And this isn't to say that the entire issue focuses on only new releases. There is a pleasant mix of old and new... with there even being an article on John Blanche's 28mm Inquisition Warband. If this is what we can expect from the White Dwarf team, then it may appear that Games Workshop is starting to turn things around.
