Stormtrooper Secret

Massive Voodoo is an amazing blog that I encourage everybody in our little online community to subscribe and/or follow. It may be orientated towards producing amazing miniatures, but then, amazingly painted armies make our games with little pieces of plastic all the better.

But that isn't what this post is about, as the title and Youtube Video below may suggest. This is about a awesome jawsome music video that Roman from Massive Voodoo shared with his Jungle friends...

Kickstarter - Kung Fury

I came across Kung Fury thanks to Tears of Envy. And can I just say, this looks ducking awesome. Reminds me of those TV Shows and movies made before I was born but got to watch growing up as a kid. And like Judge Minty, this will be free to watch on the interwebz.

On an unrelated note, I've always thought it be cool to have a t-shirt saying made in the 80s, raised in the 90s.

Vinnie Jones' hard and fast Hands-only CPR (funny short film)

I'm off to do my Advance Life Support Course today. And while I'm off learning how to save lives, I figured my imaginary friends can also do some learning with Vinnie Jones...

Quote of the Day

While having a read on the BoLS Lounge, I came across this quote and felt it must be shared with my imaginary friends...
You're not suggesting they're [Games Workshop] actually a competently run, market dominant multinational are you? Because that bloke on the interwebs (you know the one. Lives at home, no actual experience running any sort of business, avant garde approach to personal hygiene, sense of entitlement eclipsed only by belly girth) said they're run by a bunch of idiots who couldn't find their arse with both hands and a map. And surely he knows what he's on about....

Weekly Finds

Talos Minotaur by Cagan from Blog de Kouzes - Wow... that is all I can really say. The Talos kit is already heavily featured in some of the best Dark Mechanicus collections on the interwebz. The brilliant, yet simple, addition of the Carnifex legs just took it in a whole new direction.

Fear of the Dark by Caldaron from the Bolter & Chainsword - This is probably the first Night Lords army I've seen set in the Horus Heresy... which is surprising given how jawesome Aaron Dembski Bowden's Night Lords Series is.

I stumbled across this while taking a casual look at my blogger stats I'm not the only one that does it. It is flattering to know that I'm lost but not forgotten... maybe one day I'll go to the effort of letting everybody know that the url to le blog has changed.

Music Monday - Zombie

Sitting at the computer deciding what I should do tonight. Finished the final exam for my degree the other week and now playing the waiting game for results to be posted. One subject has me nervous fingers crossed I don't fail and have to do a reassessment or worse. But I've now got a whole lot of free time on my hands. Something that I haven't had the pleasure of for well over three months.

There is some paper work on my desk that needs filling out for the job I've been offered next year.. waiting to find out my roster for work in retail over the Christmas holidays.. and then there is the battlefoam bag full of unpainted miniatures and boxes of unassembled miniatures.. plus meeting up with friends that have been left neglected due to university.

As for the title of this post... I'm currently going through my iPhone reacquainting myself with the music on it and I realised this wasn't on it.

As for what to do... think I'll also reacquaint myself with paint and brushes... need to redevelop the muscle memory and decide how I want to go about painting black after I stripped the painted of everything again. The miniatures by Mad Matt have completely changed my thoughts on painting black...

Music Monday - Don't be a Dick

This song reminds of the saying about ass holes and opinions. Also reminds me of this scene from Team America. Great movie...

Fat Sack O' Bits

Normally I don't do posts like this... but I love me some good bitz.
New from MBG industries (the mad genius who brought you Battlewagon Bits and Spikey Bits) comes the Fat Sak o' Bits.
Whittled away for years in the dark closet of power was a collection of bits so vast, so powerful that they had to be hidden from the world- less they devour it with their mind numbing awesome saying awesomeness.

Now in the wee months of 2011 with the re-emergence of a new bits service they have awoken, and are hungry. Plucked at the peak of bits perfection over many years at Battlewagon Bits and accumulated through many more projects over the years, these are the best bits I have to offer (packaged in a convenient sack form).

They have been mixed to ensure (mostly) a great batch of kick ass bits in each bag. Included are bits from Orks to Guard to Marinez with everything in between- even some Fantasy treats. We worked super hard putting these together, and many Bothans died to produce a bits bag this powerful.

Each sack is a 5x7 inch 4mil plastic bag filled to the brim with bits sifted and sorted from the closet of power (just don't tell the Bits Cat I took them).

Don't wait these bags are Limited Edition- I can only build up a collection of bits this awesome every few years so you don't want to miss out on these Bits bags. You can even save $10 by purchasing two at a time, while supplies last muahahahahahaa! Costs 29.99 for one bag or 49.99 for 2 bags. If they are still in stock by end of week I may pick up two bags of bitz.

Life and other stuff

Internet was down for past few days which meant that the weekly finds and Blogdex post that I had written up but not scheduled didn't go up until today. For those who haven't heard about BlogDex, then I highly recommend you find out what its about. And this was a pleasant surprise when finding out what I had missed out on without the interwebz...
MoD was probably the most important person in getting me to where I am now. He introduced me to YTTH.
- Brother Loring in this rant
Also, I'll be changing the blog name to Imaginary Life soon. And when I've got some free time I'll be finishing off the article on validity I promised Kirby last year.

... and finally Happy Birthday to me.

Madness Combat

Won't be a White Dwarf review for this month at the moment. Decided that I will do a bunch of them at the same time and then post them on the first Wednesday of their respective months. Means that there will be White Dwarfs dating back as far as the mid 00's. But onto the content that is behind the name of the post...

And the madness doesn't stop with those four. But that is enough violence for one day. And don't forget you only have a few days left to enter Dave Taylor's Steel Legion Competition. Tasty Taste and Dethtron are in on the action. Are you?
